This ring was handcrafted from a vintage 1919 Hildesheim Rose silver spoon, preserving the intricate design of German silversmith Christoph Widmann.  Every curve and petal is preserved, turning history into wearable art.

The Hildesheim Rose pattern honors the legendary Rose of Hildesheim. This wild dog rose (Rosa canina) has climbed the walls of Hildesheim Cathedral for over a thousand years. It survived bombings during WWII and bloomed again as the cathedral was rebuilt. Today, it stands as one of the oldest living roses in the world—a symbol of resilience, hope, and timeless beauty.

The design wraps comfortably around the finger with each petal unfolding in delicate detail.  It’s a piece that celebrates both artistry and history.
